THE FA CREST ON THE CHEST. THE LION IN THE HEART.
The football department's (FA) emblem first appeared in 1919. For over 100 years, it has been an integral part of the history of TSV München von 1860. This season, the Lions are wearing this traditional emblem on their chests.
The FA emblem now, like hardly any other club symbol, stands for new beginnings and the will to go one's own way. Rarely has an emblem of TSV München von 1860 been charged with comparable symbolic power as in this historic moment.
FREEDOM FOR SIXTY – SUPPORTED BY DIALOG VERSICHERUNGEN
A new chapter begins on the front. With DIALOG Versicherungen, TSV München von 1860 gains a new main and jersey sponsor. The company accompanies the club's new beginning as a strong partner and supports the chosen path into the future.
Under the common motto "Freedom for Sechzig - supported by DIALOG Versicherungen", the lettering on the jersey chest symbolizes the new beginning of TSV München von 1860.
FOOTBALL FOR THE PEOPLE – FANS AS THE BACKBONE AND ON THE BACK.
One detail makes this jersey truly special. On the back, it carries the message "Football for the People" – made possible by an extraordinary crowdfunding campaign. Thousands of 'Löwinnen und Löwen' (lionesses and lions), fan groups, and football fans from Germany and around the world came together to ensure this message is permanently visible. It stands for the belief that football belongs to the people. Fans don't just stand behind their team in the stands week after week. With this jersey, they now also symbolically stand on their backs.
SOCIETAS – Our new outfitter
SOCIETAS is a Munich-based company located on Lindwurmstraße. The label develops individual concepts at the intersection of sport, fashion, and club identity – from teamwear and lifestyle apparel to merchandise and corporate identity.
The foundation for the collaboration with TSV München von 1860 was laid in June 2024, when SOCIETAS, together with the e.V. (registered association), launched its own jersey. Since then, this initial joint project has gradually evolved into an increasingly close partnership.
Since the 2026/27 season, SOCIETAS has been the official outfitter of the new Spielbetriebs-GmbH (operating company).
This jersey tells our story.
Of tradition and new beginnings. Of past and future. Of a club that forges its own path. And of thousands of people who have made this journey possible together.
